OBV10-I-15 is a range of devices designed for discharging induced transient overvoltages (Type 1 +2 / Class 1+11), in compliance with EN/IEC 61643-11 standards. These devices come in a DIN rail Monobloc format and have the ability to discharge lightning currents (10/350µs) and induced voltage surges (8/20 µs).

  • They are suitable for use as the first line of protection in incoming power supply panels and in areas highly exposed to the atmosphere, where external lightning protection systems are typically installed.
  • These devices can discharge impulse currents with a (10/350 µs) waveform at a rate of 15 kA per phase.
  • The discharge capacity for an (8/20 µs) waveform is I max: 120 kA.
  • They are exclusive devices designed for TNS earthing systems.
  • Additionally, these devices are compatible with Power Line Communication networks.
  • They feature a biconnect design, offering two types of terminals for both rigid or flexible cables and fork-type comb busbars.
  • An optional remote signaling feature is available.
