OBVXJ

OBVXJ is a series of devices designed to discharge transient overvoltages induced in RS 485 networks. OBVXJ is specifically engineered to protect data, communication, measuring, and control lines against surge effects. This protector features RS485 input and output connectors, with the capacity to withstand nominal discharge currents of 5 kA for each line.

  • These devices are well-suited for safeguarding instrumentation installed in RS 485 networks, which are highly vulnerable to induced transient overvoltages (surges) associated with meteorological activity.
  • They provide protection for 1 or 2 pairs of wires.
  • Suitable for nominal voltages of Un: 12V, 24V, 48V.
  • They offer low residual voltage across all working voltages.
  • Additionally, they are available with the optional feature of being Din-rail mountable.
